PMC's Week 15 Photo Post: Crying Peeps!

The Crying Entet

Obviously, this is my daughter who is so super hyper active baby. The upper left pic shows herself on how she wanted to escape from my embraces. She was on her momentum of playing the neighboring kids outside the house as I took her to go to bed. She really refuses not to go with me, I picked her up and then we locked inside the room and I hugged her so tightly to the point that she was hurt and of course she really wanted to escape from me. Then my sister took her a candid shot.

The lower right was taken during night time as she badly wants to drink her milk. The busy mom watching TV were not listening as what she requested that's why she shouted aloud saying "Memmy, Mi-mik..................." with matching tears on her eyes. Poor little Entet....

Future Chemist!

Our church celebrated our 12th year anniversary at a certain pool here in Cagayan de Oro yesterday. After I took a bath for my daughter, I was so busy packing the things to bring for the said event while my husband was on the bathroom for a shower. Time for me to take my turn, so my partner was the one who watches over my daughter as she was playing the packed bag. Too lenient, my husband went outside for some minutes to do his tooth brushing thinking that her daughter was just playing the bag while watching TV.

To his surprise, what he saw was my daughter holding her medicine bottle for her nasal decongestant was spilled out on our bed plus her cologne on the other hand. He really scolded my daughter of what happened. Of course, she cried aloud that I was able to hear her voice in the bathroom. As I went inside our room, I asked her what did Daddy do to you? She answered me with matching demonstration that "Da--ddy, spanked (pronounce by her as spang)".

As I was about to let her drink her med in the afternoon, I was so shocked that I smelled something outside the bottle. I thought it was just the cologne that was spilled near her bottle of med. I did not expect as I was about to pulled her drops of med, it was not her med inside the bottle anymore but the cologne instead. What?? Did I smell it right? Oh my, does it mean that my daughter is a future chemist? (LOL)

High Tech Days!

I remember the time when I was in my high school days that I was able to use a computer as one of our subjects. But this time, as early as the kids now they know how to operate the PC, controls the mouse, play a movie, listen to music and etc.. Imagine how the world of technologies influence our kids nowadays? Most of the kids are into computer games, surfing the net, etc at their very young age. As always there are always a PROS and CONS when it comes to technologies especially computers. CONS - many students were addicted to online games to the point that they don't want go to school anymore. The PROS- it makes also the life of the students much easier- it is a great help as well when it comes to researching.

I have a friend, who has a grade 2 daughter who happened to have a computer subject in class. Fortunate enough that they have their own PC at home since they have to answer their homework through their CDs. But, what about those students who doesn't have one at home? Poor little ones that they have to spend time, money and effort to go to a cafe just to answer their assignments.

My daughter as early as 1 year and 7 months old, received a gift from her grandmother (mama as she fondly calls) a mini computer. Intended for her to learn the basics of everything. Alphabets, numbers, animals, vocabulary, sounds, games and more. I realized how early my daughter be exposed to high technologies nowadays.

The Principles of Abundant Living

Here are the list of verses to remind us always on how God wanted His children to live a life of abundance. For me to be reminded of these things, I placed it in my table top (in our office) .

Lord, never again will I confess that I am a failure for I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians. 4:13)

I will never exhibit frustration or apprehensiveness for I am promised “The peace of God passeth all understanding.”(Philippians 4:7)

I will never admit to be in lack of anything for “My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians. 4:19)

I will never again agree to bondage for Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
(2 Corinthians 3:17)

I refuse to submit to fear for “God hath not given me the spirit of fear; but of power and love and of sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

I will never express self-condemnation for “There is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8: 1)

I will not assure frailty or weakness for “The Lord is the strength of my life.” (Psalms 27:1)

I will never display discontentment for I have learned for whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” (Philippians 4:11)

I will never yield to the grim circumstances of life for “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.” (I John 4:4)

I will never have feelings of unworthiness for “I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works.” (Ephesians 2:10)

I will never bow in defeat for “God always causeth me to triumph in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:1 4)

I will never be intimidated by opposition for “If God is with us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

I will never promenade my illnesses for “Jesus himself took my infirmities, and bare my sickness.” (Matthew 8:17)

I will never feel insecure for “The Lord shall be my confidence and shall keep my foot from being taken.” (Proverbs 3:26)

I refuse to worry for I am “Casting all my cares upon Him, for He cares for me.” (1 Peter 5:7)

I will never admit that the troubles of life are too great, for the Lord says “In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I shall overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

...God always wanted us to experience a supernatural abundance not just on the financial matters but in all aspects of our lives...Be blessed by His words.

Awards Time!

I got this very first award from my very good friend Bogie. She doesn't misses me to put in her list everytime she has an award or tag for everyone. She's my mentor, even in blogging. :)
They all are charmed with the blogs, where in the majority of its aims are to show the marvels and to do friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut or that they propagate? Then let's try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to 8 bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text.

I want to present this award to my blogger friends:

1. Lalaine - my churchmate who is my model when it comes to blogging.
2.
Koko - my college friend who happens to be my churchmate now who is so good in writing.
3.
Debbie- my close friend who loves to update pics of her cute little angel.
4.
Heaven- cute and so brilliant friend who loves blogging.

5-8 - the rest of my blogger friends out there...

Sleeping Ways

Every time we fall into sleep, we always close our eyes of course, lay on our bed and then some do snores. Some of which may fall asleep even if they are just sitting while leaning on a wall, some of them even listening on a Sunday service, and most of them are sleeping while on a middle of the class.
But I knew just recently that fishes do sleep on a traditional way like humans –lying but with an eyes open wide. What? Am I seeing it right? I was so shocked as we happened to passed by a pet shop wherein my daughter loves to look at fishes on an aquarium. There I saw a school of fish sleeping. I thought that they would just close their eyes and then sleep. They were all lying while they’re floating. Maybe they are just so tired of swimming a lot (LOL!).

B-U-S-Y Life

This is one of the many reasons that I can’t update my blog so much because of busyness. Busy at work, at home so on and so forth. But I know that God has chosen us to have this busy life. Through this, we can learn many precious lessons through it all. One is to learn to rest in Him. In the midst of all the things that we must do, to depend upon Him for our strength is important. Busy in a sense that we have to put our self aside in order to serve others and God. I always remember this saying: “When you are serving others, you are really serving Him. There is no difference”.

Don't be too busy for nothing, if you do so you are Being Under Satan's Yoke. Be that BUSY for the Lord.

The Love of a Father

God says “Be as a child!” A child does not worry, does not question, and does not look ahead. This is what God wants us to be, to seize the moment without thought to future trials. Just merely looking at Him in childlike wonder and expectancy the more He blesses us and meet each and every need that we encounter.

My daughter’s dependence brings out all the loving, caring qualities of his dad. Just like God, He loves a child-like heart.

Protecting your Marriage

Nowadays we often hear of a story or even see a movie about extramarital affair. It seems that in a world of unbelievers, a painful story of infidelity is just a normal thing for a couple who doesn't worked/clicked at all.

I have learned things on how to build "HEDGES" to protect your marriage and to help make "a good marriage great".

  • Hear- give a listening ear to your spouse.
  • Encourage- build up your spouse by focusing on positive qualities.
  • Date- celebrate your marriage by playing and laughing together.
  • Guard- establish safeguards by setting clear boundaries.
  • Educate- study your mate to understand him or her.
  • Satisfy- meet each other's needs.

The grass on the other side of the fence may look greener, but faithfulness to God and commitment to your spouse alone bring peace of mind and satisfaction.

Let your marriage be a picture of Christ and His church to the people around you by loving and respecting your spouse. Only Christ is the 3rd party in a marriage who can make it work.

Business in Mind...

A graduate of Business Management is supposed to be a manager of his/her own business. As to my case, I ended up working in a national agency as a plain employee. But I'm sure that I would not just settle for less but I should have aim for more. In God's own time, a higher rank position in the near future.

Before I got married, my boyfriend who happens to be my husband wanted me to engage in business as he does. This was his planned before, but I strongly disagreed with him. My planned was just to get employed in a company while he is in the business world. And so it all happened...
Years of experiencing what the real world of employment is all about, I came into a realization that why should I not get into business? All of my learning's will just be put to vain I will not practiced nor used it. But the big question is? What kind of business? etc and etc. Of all questions asked, the answer would be...ahHmm..I have already it in mind but sad to say that it would be a secret as of now (LOL!).

A Month Preparation

I just noticed that how time really flies so fast. Ber months is already in the air. I can hear Christmas songs played in the malls and even the cool breeze that we feel.

I can't imagine that a month and 3 days from now to be exact will be the 2nd birthday of our daughter Danielle and at the same time our blissful 3rd wedding anniversary day. So excited to celebrate this double special events in our lives. We planned to have a short vacation God-willing after the said event to have our second honeymoon in Bohol. Hopefully it will pushed through since my college friends will be with us that time and until now they can't fix the date because of our unmet schedules. My husband and I agreed that no matter what will happen, we will go. Huh? It's too expensive if we will go their without them since we can lessen our expenses if we will avail a group package. We will still pray for them to fix their mind.

As to my daughter's event, months ago we planned not to give her a birthday party since we will be having our vacation. But since my daughter nowadays loves to look at her album with her picture blowing her 1st birthday cake, wanted to have a balloon every time we're out in a mall, afraid of mascots when it's near but love to stare if its far from her. Because of this, it made me to plan and decide as well to give her a simple birthday party with my family and close friends. As of now, am quite busy looking for her party dress. I wanted her to dress like a Princess again, but I'm confused as to what to wear...may it be Alice in the wonderland or Cinderella? Please help me decide for this so that I can buy the cloth the soonest.

Shopping Spree!

I guess all of us wants to experience a shopping spree, especially to us women. This is what we love to do. Shop, shop, shop! For me,I can say that I can go shopping just for our needs and a little of my wants.

I do have a friend of mine from other country who loves to shop always. I always keep in touch with her almost everyday. The other month, as we were chatting, she came to a point that she wanted me to shop for her again. A favorite company of her that still don't exist in U.S.A. Take note the word again, because I shopped for her last year with that same company of tops and bottoms.

To shop for someone else is quite not easy because you have to imagine her size, the color that she wants, the styles that she likes. Much more with the time that you spent thinking on which to buy that at the end she would like it. Fortunately, it paid off as you will see that she was so happy to received the package from me. Yippee!!we've got the same taste!

Just this Saturday I shopped for her again the third time. As I went outside the store with my both hands full of shopping bags I felt like I'm shopping for myself as in to the maximum level! (Lol!)

My Prince!

Too often today the husband-wife realtionship is viewed as anything. We often see the bitterness, the insults and animosity presented in the media as the norm. How much more desirable it is to see True Love-- to see a husband unashamedly cherish his wife, to unselfishly be her "prince".

Just like my husband he is the type of a romantic person who loves surprises for me. He doesn't mind if what people says as long as what he did is right. He loves to show his feelings not just to his princess but even to others as well. He loves to show affection and he is very appreciative even if it is not (*as to people's standard*)-- he always see things positively as beautiful as ever been. That's what I like in him.

Here are some suggestions for husband out there to continue to love his wife in a more princely way:

  1. Listen--enjoy those tender times when she can unburden her heart without fear
  2. Love Life--find ways to have fun to your marriage
  3. Lead spiritually--guide the way into prayer and intimate fellowship with the Lord

I thank the Lord that my husbands never fails to do what's on the list. Our married life is truly been blessed! Whew! So men out there...be a prince to your princess!

Prayer...the best weapon!

Did you experience in your life how God really works and answer your prayers? Indeed, I can really testify His goodness and faithfulness in our lives!

To be miles away from the family is not that easy just to earn for a living. This is the case of my elder sister who happened to be in Dubai for work. All we can give to her is just our prayers for protection and good health. Guess what? Something happened....just yesterday morning she called us up telling that their flat (apartment) that they are into was burnt up with fire! She really cried because she thought all of her stuffs were burnt. According to her roommate who was there at the scene, the fire started at their room. She was at work during that day, that's why she was so worried because all of her papers was all there.

Their boss gave them money just enough for them for their immediate needs like dress, undergarments, food and etc...But at the back of my sister's mind, she really has to go to the site to look for something in which she can save of her own. The owner didn't allow her to go for the reason that the police has to investigate it first but she really didn't listened. As she was on their room, she was so amazed that of all the bed in their room it was only her bed that wasn't burnt at all, even her stuffs, dresses in the cabinets were still intact but the rest of her roommates stuffs turned into ashes.

She really cried because of God's goodness in her life. See? even just little stuffs were there, the papers and all. As she was telling all these things lastnight my mom and I really had moved to tears....tears of Joy! You can't really imagined how does it happened. But that's how God really works to His children. Our simple prayer as a family for protection was not in vain.

Indeed, God is the God of all possibilities, He can perform miracles. Because of what had happened, I believed that God used my sister as an instrument for her fellow roommates and co-workers to believed and be saved in our God on whom who protects, provides, heals, saves, preserves and loves at all times. All praises and glory belongs to Him!
