Flashflood, Again?

It's another calamity that happened here in Cagayan de Oro for the second time around. Just last January 3 of this year, thousands of families were affected from flash floods. We thought that it was the last time but we were all wrong. Yesterday at around 3 am if I'm not mistaken the rain started to poured out so hard and didn't stop until last night. We were experiencing the said disaster that we ourselves were on the scene of packing our necessary things ready to evacuate and placing our appliances in an elevated areas. But still, PRAYER is the best weapon for this. Me and my hubby devoted a time together in the morning and in the evening praying so hard for the rain to stop.
Indeed God answers prayers. The water in the river bank did subside last night that we were not able to evacuate to an elevated area because we know that we were all safe even though we just stayed in our homes. I know all this things did happened for a reason: this is just a reminder that God is coming so soon and we His children must be ready and prepared to meet Him up!

Countdown to 2009... Debt Cancellation!
As we move toward the new year, we are in a mighty season of change in so many areas—spiritually, politically, and financially. In this time of transition, the people of God are receiving more and more revelation about God’s financial outpouring on their lives. As you plant your most generous and precious seed today, you will be acting in faith and moving into a new dimension which can unlock the door to great blessings in your life.
Our Father’s glorious promise to us is very clear: “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10).
As we countdown to 2009, it is time to experience supernatural debt cancellation and so much more!
I pray that all of us will be enriched in everything to all bountifulness, in the mighty name of Jesus, for we know that we live “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6)!

Prayer...the best weapon!

Did you experience in your life how God really works and answer your prayers? Indeed, I can really testify His goodness and faithfulness in our lives!
To be miles away from the family is not that easy just to earn for a living. This is the case of my elder sister who happened to be in Dubai for work. All we can give to her is just our prayers for protection and good health. Guess what? Something happened....just yesterday morning she called us up telling that their flat (apartment) that they are into was burnt up with fire! She really cried because she thought all of her stuffs were burnt. According to her roommate who was there at the scene, the fire started at their room. She was at work during that day, that's why she was so worried because all of her papers was all there.
Their boss gave them money just enough for them for their immediate needs like dress, undergarments, food and etc...But at the back of my sister's mind, she really has to go to the site to look for something in which she can save of her own. The owner didn't allow her to go for the reason that the police has to investigate it first but she really didn't listened. As she was on their room, she was so amazed that of all the bed in their room it was only her bed that wasn't burnt at all, even her stuffs, dresses in the cabinets were still intact but the rest of her roommates stuffs turned into ashes.
She really cried because of God's goodness in her life. See? even just little stuffs were there, the papers and all. As she was telling all these things lastnight my mom and I really had moved to tears....tears of Joy! You can't really imagined how does it happened. But that's how God really works to His children. Our simple prayer as a family for protection was not in vain.
Indeed, God is the God of all possibilities, He can perform miracles. Because of what had happened, I believed that God used my sister as an instrument for her fellow roommates and co-workers to believed and be saved in our God on whom who protects, provides, heals, saves, preserves and loves at all times. All praises and glory belongs to Him!
