A Unique Investment

So true that man has always been fascinated with the beauty and magic of gold. For centuries, it has been recognized that one way of preserving one’s wealth and purchasing power is through buying gold. It’s really a unique investment since then and until now. Silver and Gold are just one of an investment products that are available in coin and ingot form. By the way, ingots are generally gold ingots of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape.

Just like my cousin they are engaged in a business like buying precious metals since they believe that gold has truly the power to change men’s lives. They buy gold coins from the source and then sell it on a regular dealer in the market. Wish they can contact United States Gold Bureau- America’s best dealer of precious metal investment. I think they would be a great help in their starting business.

Eating Words

The actual words and thoughts of God are revealed in the Bible. Don't just read them and repeat them. Think them. Feel them. Ask the Lord to clarify them, to make them a part of your experience, and to teach you.

Yes, today's Bible reading contains a profound principle: We must "eat" the Word before we speak it. Maybe then we won't have to eat our own words later on.

Let God's word fill your mind, rule your heart, and guide your tongue.

Online College Degrees: What Can They Help You Do?

It's so important to be thankful for the things you have, but that doesn't mean that you can't try to better yourself. There's nothing wrong with being grateful but wanting to move forward. If you're looking for ways to advance your life and have more to be grateful for, why not go back to college? You can get more education and expand your employment opportunities. Some people also get more schooling just because they love to learn things. They don't intend to do anything specific with it, but they want to know as much as they can because they find life and all its wonders interesting.

Don't assume that you can't afford it or you can't take the time. With the ability to earn online college degrees, you can study when the kids are at school or asleep. You can also learn when it's convenient for you, and you don't have to drive somewhere and sit in a classroom for a long period of time just to get your college credit. Online degrees are just as valid as traditional degrees, provided you get them from a school that's accredited. Be sure to check into that first. You don't want to end up with a serious problem—like a degree that you can't use—because you didn't research the school.

You can also get scholarships, grants, and loans for online education, just like you can for traditional, classroom-based schools. Being able to do that is another thing to be truly thankful for, because it keeps you from losing out on an education just because you don't have a lot of money. Learning online can be really fun and enjoyable, and it can help you get further in life. Don't wait for someone else to come along and do it for you. Be thankful that you have the abilities, then go out and use them.

Gold Buying

Gold is on the move as it reaches its highest price in almost two weeks. The dollar continues to weaken, subsequently increasing the appeal of the yellow metal as an alternative investment. So true that the paper currency is becoming unattractive to investors and that they are instead leaning towards to buy gold bullion and other precious metals so they have access to believable currency.

Don’t you know that the gold is proven itself to be a very effective preserver of wealth for centuries but most often being ignored as an asset class by the investors? But in the end, as comes with any financial turmoil gold will continue to have a positive outlook for the future.

CSC's 110th Anniversary

The Civil Service Commission just celebrated its 110th Anniversary for this month of September. Just yesterday we attended a culmination activity through a Musial Show presentation by each agency. Since it was drawn, luckily our office got a presentation in which it is some ‘kinda related with our agency. Despite of what we heard that it was so crowded because of the limited space, one thing’s for sure we presented it so nicely. Different agencies presented with their different themes: some did the Miss Saigon, Les Miserable, High School Musical and even the Fifa World Cup Soundtrack- Waka-waka.

There was this one agency who presented the “One Night Only.” All of them were so sexy in their black dresses plus their venetian masks that made them so mysterious. Actually all of the men’s eyes were glued from the start until the presentation ended. lolz. At the end of the show, they removed all their masks and their true beauties were all appreciated.

Well, it was indeed a successful event hold by the CSC. Kudos to the organizers and we are so excited for the next years event.

Wild, Wild West

Yesterday, we attended the 110th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service. Indeed, it was a successful Musical Show. Since we were representing our agency- Department of Agriculture, then we presented a cowboy, cowgirl, barn-shoe dance entitled: Wild, Wild West.

Exercise Ideas For Busy Moms: Running Shoes Can Help

We all know that getting plenty of sleep and eating well are good habits for a mom to have. By eating healthy foods and getting rest every night, our bodies can have the necessary energy and good health needed to feel good and take care of our children. Many moms often leave out one other important element to overall good health, and that is exercise. Whether it be walking, riding an exercise bike, yoga, or even aerobics, moms need to lace up those running shoes and get some exercise.

Exercising with young children can be a challenge, but it is possible and can be a lot of fun. Children can be included no matter their age, as long as you adjust to ensure age-appropriate safety and accommodations. For example, very small babies will do fine wrapped snugly in a secure stroller while you walk or even jog. Toddlers can walk with you part of the way, and this is such a great time to talk about what you see and learn about the world. Take the stroller for them to ride when they tire, and you can get a brisk walk or jog in while they rest. Older children can join you in walking or running, learning how good exercise is for everybody. Just remember to be sure they wear properly-fitting running shoes so they can prevent injuries.

If you prefer to exercise at the gym, some gyms have child care provided for part of the time while other places have child-oriented games and other ways for children of all ages to participate in exercising and having fun while you work out. Proper running shoes are important for all ages when exercising or participating in any activity where there is lots of foot movement, so take the time to find the right shoes before you start exercising.

Rat Plan Implementation

Correct me if I’m wrong if it was only our office who hasn’t implemented the rationalization plan (Rat Plan). A month ago, our office was ordered to implement it that soonest that they have series of meetings just to finalize the plan. Whew! I think it will really affect some personnel's who will not qualify for the opened positions being offered by the office. It would be good news to those who have their educational background (licensed) with them or some they call it as professionals to handle such positions. I have heard from a friend that the vacant positions being offered to us (contractual) are more on the technical aspects. But well, on our part who’s not qualified for it how can we apply such? She told me that there are some positions offered like some researchers and etc but you need to qualify as well to have some research degrees or else you will not have it.

Oh my! Lord, help me to achieve what I wanted to have this time. I guess I can apply for others since I do have my master’s degree with me after all.

Saddest Moment

So true that God allows some things for some reasons. Yeah, last month was a month of grieving for us aside from the fact the my sister-in-law's shocking death, I had my miscarriage too. I don't know what really happened that after I had my spotting I went to see for my ObGyne but so shocked to know and hear the truth that the 2 months embryo inside was not there already. My doctor told me that if ever we were able to save the baby, there's a possibility that he/she will have some abnormalities. Well, everything happened for a reason and I'm still thankful to God for allowing such things.

Anyway, here are some of my pix taken while I was confined last August 4-5, 2010 @ Madonna and Child Hospital.

From ER to Operating Room......

@ the recovery room after my 30 minute D&C Operation...

Ouch! It is so painful to know that after the operation, the baby's not there at your side...:(
Anyway, life has to move on.

Life's Uncertainty

Life's one certainty its sheer uncertainty. As scripture reminds us, we "do not know what will happen tomorrow" (James 4:14).

Sometimes the fulfillment of our dreams can turn into nightmares. This only reminds us that not only of the uncertainty of life but also of the need to align our desires with God's will. Experiences teaches us that if we allow presumption to run our lives, the fulfillment of our own compulsive dreams may turn to dust and ashes.

All we have to do is to submit our plans to God's will so that we can enjoy His peace in the midst of life's uncertainty. Thank you Lord for allowing such things to happen...truly everything happens for a reason...

His Great Idea

Last Sunday, one of my church mate offered me her for sale silver jewelries. I was so fascinated with the different styles that are so unique from the designs displayed in malls. After checking all the different designs, at last I have chosen 2 among the many liked-styles and of course I bought it. Afterward, a cousin of mine also looks for a bracelet for himself but he told me that he wanted silver with a gemstones on it. He whispered me secretly not to buy one since his brother who is into buying gold bars and silvers has quite a few left-over that are still useful in making such. Indeed, he has a great idea in which he can save more.

So true, the beauty of a gold bar lies in its proven ability to diversify investments, protect wealth and preserve one’s purchasing power. Indeed, gold has the power to change men’s lives just like somebody I knew so well.

Soon to be Groom

Last night we spent together with our friend Junel (soon to be groom) for the last time of being a single. A week from now, he will enter into a new chapter in his life which is the bond of marriage.

I always remember this story Marriage Before LOVE (read it!). So true that at times, feelings towards our spouse may grow cold but LOVE is much more than feelings- it is a LIFE-LONG commitment.
Ja, always keep your marriage vows to LOVE "till death do you part."
Only Christ is the 3rd party in a marriage who can make it work.

God Bless your marriage!

My Field, Your Field Too!

Just recently, a representative from another national agency went to our office and shared to us an information drive campaign about an alternative learning center. She was able to tackle their offered courses like cosmetology, culinary arts and so on and so forth. Many of my office mates wanted to enroll the said crashed-course offered by them.

Since I am quite interested, I searched it online about some campuses which offered the same course: there I found out hair schools in Wichita! I really love to learn more on this field. What makes it nice is that this campus is provisionally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). Guess what? They are able to offer federal financial aid to those who qualify. In here, you will not just learn the beauty business from A to Z but they can make you star that will shine all throughout the years. Aside of course from the fully equipped facilities they have they have also the best and impressive track record ever.

Hmmm…truly interesting. Hoping that I could pass their qualification exam!
