Wedding Venues: Finding the Right Location for the Best Day of Your Life

Your wedding will almost certainly be one of the most important days of your life. This is why it’s of paramount importance that you find the right venue for your impending nuptials. Wedding venues are a very personal choice and should reflect your unique tastes, personalities and (of course) budgetary restraints. Of the many factors to take into consideration when selecting your wedding venue you should visit each potential venue with a list of exactly what it is you’re looking for.
Grand Canyon National Park The Venue

Of primary concern when selecting wedding venues should be the accessibility of the venue for your guests and how much it will cost to hire. You should also factor in the size of the venue (making sure it can comfortably hold all of your guests), it’s time restrictions and it’s aesthetic qualities. Of course the venue can be as humble as a local hotel or as grand as an Olympic stadium but either way it needs to “Feel” right, “Look” right and contain all of the facilities that you’d expect of a wedding venue. We've all (unfortunately) seen “Don't Tell The Bride,” so we know that the venue doesn't necessarily have to be a conventional church or town hall, but take into account that more unconventional venues probably won't be equipped to handle a wedding without some help. On the other hand, if your other half is particularly quirky, the very idea of staging the most important day of their lives might make them shudder. A good middle ground would be a grand hotel on the outskirts of a major city, with decent transport links for guests. Chester Hotels are particularly gorgeous, affordable, and desirable, as the city is located just south of Liverpool and close to the Welsh border.

Of course when it comes to wedding venues the world really is your oyster (many may opt for a less conventional scenario for their wedding), but it is advisable to use a location that comes with recommendations specifically for holding weddings. Planning a wedding is amongst the most stressful things you will ever have to do, with every minor detail needing to be not only absolutely perfect of it’s own accord, but perfectly in sync with all the other elements of the wedding. Wedding venues that have been built with these ceremonies in mind will also be far more practical and will be more likely to be able to accommodate all guests and will most likely offer a selection of reception rooms fit for weddings of all sizes.

The All Inclusive Option

You will of course also need to consider if you want the entire wedding to take place in the same location or if you will be booking the wedding venue just for the reception (with the ceremony itself taking place in a church or registry office perhaps). Certain wedding venues might offer packages that will give couples discounted rates when they use the venue for both the ceremony and reception. The venue might also involve the capacity to accommodate guests overnight, which will be incredibly handy for couples that have guests travelling from abroad. Larger hotels are a perfect fit, because not only will they give the bride, groom and family somewhere to stay after the ceremony and reception are over, but they might also have extra features such as a spa or golf course that your guests can enjoy. You're more likely to find these kind of facilities in an area of the UK such as Chester, and the area surrounding it. Indeed, if you're particularly keen on a decent health Spa Cheshire is world-renowned for them!
Fairytale Fabulous

The only down side of the all-inclusive option, is that your wedding could feel a little “Cookie-cutter,” especially if you happen to have been to a few other similar weddings in recent years. Still, the convenience and affordability of the option is not to be scoffed at, and having all of the location work sorted in one in one move will leave you with a lot less work and a fewer stress headaches!

21st Century Marriage

Of course searching for suitable wedding venues is even more of a headache if you’re a same-sex couple looking for a civil partnership. Since April 1995, it has been legal for same-sex couples to hold civil wedding ceremonies in venues other than registry offices (provided the registrar conducting the ceremony has been licensed no less than 15 days before the ceremony) and this means the options have really opened up with wedding venues from hotels to castles and country homes to even football stadiums now licensed to wed loving partners regardless of sexual preference.

My Treasure

I am glad, yet somewhat sad…
My heart seems happy, yet I feel gloomy
Not because of you Phebie,
But only because I am me.

At first I thought you are too far
But now I feel just there you are.
If time will come that this will end,
I hope it’ll not just be around the bend.

For if it comes in time so sudden
My heart will bleed and will forever be saddened.
But, no, it should not be a very sad ending,
If both of us just go on loving.

Please give this heart of mine a second chance,
To beat in love holding your lovely hands.

Bouquet of Flowers from Hubby

Flowers... are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty out-values all the utilities of the world.

I just want to let the whole wide world  know how romantic my hubby is and I really thank the Lord for his life and his thoughtfulness! Anyway, these are just few of the documented flowers I received during my birthdays since February 2009 and the latest was just last February 4. Take note guys, since the day we became bf-gf last October 5, 2002 he never failed to give me bunch of those EVERY month not unless now that we're wed I asked him not to do it instead only during special occasions.

A woman is like a rose. If you'll treat her right, she'll bloom. f you don't, she'll wilt! ~Fireproof

Thank you hubby for the love and care! Love you much until the end.....

Celebrating V-day with my Loved-ones!

Actually, nothing is special with this day for us with my hubby because everyday is day for LOVE for the both of us. But since all around the globe is celebrating the 14th of February as the LOVE day, then we made it as well as an extra-special day for us. Of course, Valentines Day would not be complete without the flowers and the romantic dinner~ that's how my hubby spoiled me ever since we met.

As early as 9 in the morning, he surprised me with this pretty flowers by asking me to go out from the office as if  he has an important matters to tell me about. Unknowingly, when he went out from the car he was already holding these bouquet of flowers and that some of my office mates where teasing me already. :)

As I've said, it would not be complete without a romantic dinner...but this time around is quite different, we brought with us our two adorable kids and had a very sumptuous dinner served from Mesa Restaurant here in Ayala Centrio Mall.

...till the next Valentines Day updates everyone!

I LOVE Contest

The moment I became a blogger, I joined blog contests, raffles online here and there and luckily enough I always won! Since then, I really love to join such because I feel lucky or shall I say blessed of having the prizes. For these past few months, contests, raffles have expired already without me making an effort just to join even one because I’m so “lazy” since I’m not on the mood (preggy mood). :(

Just recently, hubby went home with a raffle ticket on his hand claiming that he will win the 1st prize which is a brand new car this coming June. So when I saw it, I was a bit encourage that I also buy the said ticket hoping and praying that I will win too. Well, enough for me if I will have even just one of the ipod touch 8 gb or any gadgets that will be given as a consolation prize.

Moment of LOVE

Last week, my daughter was brought with my parents for a family reunion. Since I'm not allowed to travel anymore because I'm about to give birth in weeks time, hubby and I were left at home. Too bad, the whole Saturday in our place were having a brownout so I asked hubby to go with me. Actually, we went to "D Morvie Suite" (a pension house good for transients). There we stayed for the whole day, and guess what? I really enjoyed their free wi-fi, cold rooms plus with their cable flat TV an affordable cost.
It was a day we called a moment of LOVE...since it's been a long time that we haven't have a quality time with each other. :)

He Forgot!

Just this afternoon, after we ate our lunch together in my office hubby wants to be back to his office right away. I hold his hands and whispered this to him:

"Oh so sorry honey", he forgot that yesterday was our monthsary date because of his busy schedules in the office. He then gave me a kiss and promised to have a dinner date right after office hours. So sweet of him! I just want to thank God for giving such a wonderful hubby like him.

Our LOVE Day Celebration

Well, hubby won't allow to be left behind as the world celebrates valentines day to profess hiss love to me publicly. Actually, he is fond of doing it before he met me. What he did was, he brought hose basket full of balloons in the office personally and handed it to me. The bouquet of flowers were given by him also personally last week during my 30th birthday. That's how he profess his love publicly~ he wanted the whole world to know how he really love me.
he brought all these stuffs personally in the office

Anyway, he fetched me after office hours and we went out for a simple dinner date. Yay! I'm so blessed to have a sweet, loving and thoughtful hubby like him. Thank you Lord for my husband!

How about you, how did you celebrate your Valentines Day yesterday?

Happy LOVE Day to all and be blessed!

Wrap It With Love

Tomorrow would be our Church Christmas party, just this afternoon we were so busy doing some Christmas rush shopping for our gift giving. Actually it really took time for us just to to pick the best gift for our manito and manita. Hubby choose either electronic gadgets or waterproof binoculars while me in a dilemma between apparels from small home fixtures. Of course no problem with my daughter we just went to the toy sections. Now, it's already late in the evening and 'm still wrapping the gifts for tomorrow's event. Guess what, I felt so tired already but still need to finish it all- whew! need more energy but I guess it would be perfect if I would do it with LOVE.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE!

No matter our age or status in life, we all can strive to love others as God loves them. We may accomplish great things in our life- gain fame and fortune- but the greatest thing is to LOVE! For of all that we have done, or ever will do, only love endures. We depart, but love abides.

Good Communicators

Good communication occurs not only when we know what we want to say, but also when we know the person to whom we are speaking. And to know one another requires a willingness to let others know our weaknesses and limitations.

Paul urged us as believers to speak truthfully with each other (Ephesians 4:25). He also admonished us to be “kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another’. That’s Christ-like love, and it provides the security in which good communication can thrive.- Haddon Robinson

Listen to understand, then speak with LOVE!

RT: Lend an Ear

The Bible calls us as Christians to "care for one another" (1 Cor. 12:25) by using the gifts God has given each of us by His grace. One of the ways we can care for and serve each other is to listen.

Listening is not the job of a talented few but the privilege and responsibility of us all. Someone needs to tell you something today. Are you ready and willing, for Jesus' sake, lend an ear?
A big part of loving is LISTENING!
