Honor the Perfect Gift

Jesus is the gift that perfectly fits every heart and it is with His love that all celebration starts. We rejoice in Him as we remember His birth and thank God for sending His only Son to earth.

His life led from a manger to a cross on a hill where He faithfully followed His Father's perfect will. He freely laid down everything so that we could live and there is no greater treasure anyone could give.

Like a scarlet ribbon His love wrapped around the cross and He offered it to us all at the greatest cost. So each time that we give we remember what He's done and honor the perfect Gift - God's one and only Son.

For God so loved the world that He gave... John 3:16

A blessed Sunday to everyone!

LOVE, LOVE LOVE!

No matter our age or status in life, we all can strive to love others as God loves them. We may accomplish great things in our life- gain fame and fortune- but the greatest thing is to LOVE! For of all that we have done, or ever will do, only love endures. We depart, but love abides.

Happy Without

Do you believe that Godliness with contentment is a great gain? Definitely YES! For we brought nothing in this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. If we become enamored with things like if we buy gold bullion and other material things, then be careful because we may wander from the faith and be pierced with the pangs of frustrated desire.

Why don’t we asked ourselves, “What am I truly happy without?”. For sure the answer will reveal much about our relationships with the Lord and our contentment with Him.

Lord, help me not set my heart on things that pass away;
Make me content with what I have and give You thanks each day.

I do believe that contentment comes not from great wealth but from few wants.

Good Communicators

Good communication occurs not only when we know what we want to say, but also when we know the person to whom we are speaking. And to know one another requires a willingness to let others know our weaknesses and limitations.

Paul urged us as believers to speak truthfully with each other (Ephesians 4:25). He also admonished us to be “kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another’. That’s Christ-like love, and it provides the security in which good communication can thrive.- Haddon Robinson

Listen to understand, then speak with LOVE!

The Reverse Trend

The next time someone speaks to you in harsh or angry tone, reverse the trend by expressing meekness, quietness of spirit, and loving concern. What a difference a soft answer can make in our relationships!

This statement is a reminder for me of what had happened last night. Anyway, in order to get out of a hard situation, I’ll try a soft answer!
