My heart seems happy, yet I feel gloomy
Not because of you Phebie,
But only because I am me.
At first I thought you are too far
But now I feel just there you are.
If time will come that this will end,
I hope it’ll not just be around the bend.
For if it comes in time so sudden
My heart will bleed and will forever be saddened.
But, no, it should not be a very sad ending,
If both of us just go on loving.
