Saddest Moment
Anyway, here are some of my pix taken while I was confined last August 4-5, 2010 @ Madonna and Child Hospital.
Ouch! It is so painful to know that after the operation, the baby's not there at your side...:(
Anyway, life has to move on.

Acne Around your Mouth

I have read this important tip from a magazine...
HOW TO FIX IT: Stay away from colored toothpastes and gels, as well as toothpastes with other additives like "sparkles" or "crystals," and stick to plain white paste formulas instead.

The Silent Disease

If symptoms of high blood pressure do occur, they may include:
- Headaches, chest pain or tightness, shortness of breath, nosebleeds, and numbness and tingling, fatigue; you may have severe hypertension.
- Excessive perspiration, muscle cramps, weakness, palpitations, and frequent urination; you may have secondary hypertension, possibly caused by a tumor or an adrenal gland disorder.
- Your diastolic pressure -- the second, or bottom, number in a blood pressure reading -- suddenly shoots above 130. You may have malignant hypertension, a life-threatening condition.
- You are experiencing severe headaches, nausea, blurred vision, and confusion or memory loss; you may have malignant hypertension, which can result in stroke or heart attack if left untreated.

Worry Free Hemorrhoids Experience
She tried to surf the internet after she had her check-up just to know more about this type of disease such as the causes of hemorrhoids, treatments, symptoms and all. In one way or another doing some research and interventions could really help her solve her problem. Aside from soft diet she also had to eat high fiber diet and to prepare for a warm wet towel and press it against her hemorrhoids for about 3 to 5 minutes. Another thing is, she can also take over-the-counter laxatives and have less physical exertion.
By the way, Hemorrhoids are described as masses or clumps of tissue within the anal canal that contain blood vessels and the surrounding, supporting tissue made up of muscle and elastic fibers. The anal canal is located particularly four centimeters through which stool passes as it goes from the rectum to the outside world while the anus is the opening of the anal canal to the outside world.
Most of the people including me think hemorrhoids are abnormal, it is not! They are present in everyone. It is only when the hemorrhoidal cushions enlarge that hemorrhoids can cause problems and be considered abnormal or a disease.
As I have mentioned, the treatment of this disease is so simple. It is believed generally that constipation and straining to have bowel movements promote hemorrhoids and that hard stools can traumatize existing hemorrhoids. It is recommended, therefore, that individuals with hemorrhoids soften their stools by increasing the fiber in their diets. But as to my Aunts case, it is already bothering her that much that is why she decided to undergo operations. Thanks God that it turned out to be a successful one and she is now enjoying her worry free and a comfy self than before.
