Don't Go There When It's Ending of the Year

CAMIGUIN is believed to be one of the Philippine's most beautiful island - a virtual paradise - as the island allows visitors to experience a sample of untouched beauty in its entirety. Locked in the eternal embrace of the sea. It is said to be "Born of Fire" because it has seven volcanoes unmatched anywhere else in Southeast Asia. Volcanic eruptions and land movements have created this spectacular island full of natural wonders and historical riches.

It is a tiny island of lush forests, volcanic splendor, eternal hot and cold natural springs, pristine patches of black and white beaches, majestic waterfalls, exotic marine life, blue-ridge mountains, serene surroundings, idyllic lifestyle; it has a glorious past, and is inhabited with jovial people. The truth is, CAMIGUIN is best experienced than described as one gets enchanted by her mystical charm. It really has amazing natural resources and peaceful atmosphere that stir and baffle the minds of everyone.

Dontgothere

I have been here in this island but I suggest that if it's in the quarter ending of the year, don't go there because of it's huge and gigantic waves during this time. The only mode of transportation which we called it as "barge" or ferry boat is not that big enough to hit/smash the waves without being shaken/trembled. I had a friend together with her family who happened to experienced being in the ferry for several hours due to the big smashing waves that made them be thrown away from a far-away island. Their cries was not a solution after all, what they did was they prayed that rain would stopped and the sea waves would calmed. Another thing that made them so fearful was that they knew the seas that surrounds the island are even surrounded with sharks. (What??) Thanks God that I haven't experienced such. Still, if you want to travel to this majestic island where you can have your vacation like no other, then visit this place during summer time.
