As promised, I am now posting some of our pix during our 1st rafting adventures with my church friends and at the same time blogger friends namely: Bogie, Lalaine, and Aiza. This is a very late post but anyway better late than never!

We had so much fun last April 6, 2009. Me and hubby were planning to go for the advance level hopefully this year!

Contemporary Portrait # 2

We went to church as a family just this morning and had our lunch out at McDo. I captured her smile as she was so excited to play with the other kids inside the play house. At first, she doesn't want to eat her lunch that's why I made promised to her that if she'll finish her food then she can play. Good thing that she followed!!!

Approved CC

Last Friday, somebody called me up through my cell phone asking some information's about me. A minute after the phone rang and my office mate answered it. Guess who? It was the same caller doing some credit investigations.

To my surprise, Monday comes and a mailman came to our office handling the four envelopes to me. Oh my! What's this? Two credit cards for me and 2 for my husband? I'm am really wondering why...well in fact I only applied for one, and my husband as my supplementary. We made an agreement with my hubby to just use only one cc to avoid headache.

Hubby List

Here we go again it's tagging time! I would like to thank my blogger friend Cookie for this exciting tag. Sorry this was a late post, quite busy at home and even in the office..

Can you remember the day you first met your hubby? Of course YES!

When was that?
April 3, 2002 he was introduced by my cousin Oliver...

First impression. Weird, serious, and good looking

Were you friends before he became your bf? After my cousin introduced him to me, we became friends for 6 months and 2 days to be exact. Then the 5th of October of the same year we were officially "ON".

What was the sweetest thing he did for you? Sending me flowers and going out on a romantic date every monthsary and special days for 3 years. And for the record: EVERY month, so meaning there were no lapses...(lol).

What are the things about him that you are thankful for? He is a God fearing, loving husband to me and the best father to Danielle. Actually everything in him, I am thankful for!

*Now the rules are simple.
1. Pick your sweetest picture when you were still friends and post it on top of the questions and answers.
2. Another picture now that you are together post it after the questions.
3. Share to how many friends you like.
4. Enjoy doing it c:
5. Let your hubby read it too c:

Now, I'm going to pass this award to my cousin Shelo and sister in Christ Melody and Aisha.

My Little Bride

Yesterday was the big day of my closest friend since our elementary days up to now. My daughter was her little bride for the first time. I thought she would not walk down all by herself, at the back of my mind oh gosh it seems that it’s the little bride and her mom would march. *wink*

To my surprise, I was amazed that at her age of 2 year and 2 months old she will then be able to make it. I did not even guide her as she walked down the aisle all alone. I just made a wave from the altar making a sign language to come in front and be with me. Thanks God, she responded. As a mom, I am so proud that at her very young age she was able to do it by herself. Too bad, the elder kids who happened to be the flower girls were the one being guided with their moms as they march going to the altar. *lol*

As of this time she already has two bookings on her schedules. She will be then a little bride again early of next year and this coming November 2009. I can’t wait for that time to come. hahhaha

To My Child

As I just wanted to share this email that I received from my cousin. As I was reading this, I was really burst into tears. As in super crying moments...Maybe I got too emotional and carried away. It is a beautiful poem written by a Father to save his Daughter. Do read it once........ ....I am sure you also won't be left untouched by the words and the feelings that they depict. The last stanza, after reading from the beginning, suddenly slows down the heart-beats. .

DAD - BABY RACHEL - MOM

A sad Dad's poem...
This is a beautiful poem... There is an appeal from a Zimbabwean couple at the bottom of message, not asking for anything more than that you hand the poem on. The husband wrote the poem.

Here it goes:

Just for this morning, I am going to smile when I see your face and laugh when I feel like crying.

Just for this morning, I will let you choose what you want to wear, and smile and say how perfect it is.

Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry and pick you up and take you to the park to play.

Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.

Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles.

Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine for the ice cream truck, and I will buy you one if he comes by.

Just for this afternoon, I won't worry what you are going to be when you grow up or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned.

Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying to fix them.

Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys.

Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.

Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.

Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.

Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my favourite TV shows.

Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.

I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms. The mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly and screaming inside that little body . And when I kiss you goodnight I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing, except one more day......... ....

Yummy Sunday # 1

This is my very first entry for YS and this was taken by me when we had our socials last Wednesday night. It is one of the cocktail foods served at that time. Guess what? It's a boiled egg cut into half. At first I was so hesitant to taste it because it's just an egg, but when they forced me to ate it oh my! it was so yummy!! It's some kinda topped with chocolates and a sprinkled veggies. I don't know what's the exact name of this recipe, I forgot to ask the waiter. I'd like to make a version of this on my own.(LOL) Sorry, I was not able to remove the cellophane cover!

Scenic Sunday- Christmas Village

I considered it as a Scenic Sunday entry since the picture that I took impressed me of a beautiful scene wherein we can see the beauty of a place full of snow during Christmas Holidays. Since we are living in a country that couldn't experience a snow, at least we could experience it in here in our own little Christmas Village. (LOL). Isn't it nice though it's just a miniature?

Call Center Agent

Here we go again, every time our telephone rungs she will immediately run over and picked up the phone. Then she will say “Hello?, Mommy Ging? ….bye”. She is always expectant of my older sister’s call from abroad. Even our cell phone rings though it’s just a message she will be the one to answer it and say her lines. She’s a certified call center agent like my brother.

Watery Wednesday # 1

This is my very first entry at Watery Wednesday..This was taken by me the time we went to our hometown in Misamis Occidental. Every time we will have our vacation there, I always wanted to see the whitish waves clashing behind the "barge". So nice to look at! Before when I was still a kid, I'm afraid to look at those waves, what comes to mind was "What if the barge will sink and all of us will be drowned"? (lol)

Life in a Modern Hut

We celebrated our halloween weekends in our little hometown of Misamis Occidental last November 1 & 2 this year. Living in a province is very different from the city- no rushing hours, nice place to meditate the word of God for it's peaceful sourroundings (you can only hear the chirping birds in the trees), the cool and clean breeze that you take in. Whew! So relaxing is the place! We experienced relaxation and at the same time had fun with my other cousins in the little modern nipa hut of my cousin Herbert. He has a little pond wherein we can have some fishing like bangus and tilapia and can go on boating too. He also has prawns in there. The food was indeed so delicious and we were all having fun being in there. Hope we could visit him again next summer. Hope we can have one here in the city (lol).

Media Influence!

I've noticed my 2 year old daughter this past month that she loves to watch movies a lot. I was quiet worried since too much exposure to media especially if still a kid is not good for them. I was thinking that her world will just turn around about what she saw. So shocked that she even memorized different spiels of the advertisements at a very young age. Oh my! She loves to watch telerserye- namely Dyosa,Varga,Goin Bulilit, Iisa Pa Lamang and a lot more (LOL)!

Before I used to let her see her brainy babies and other educational CDs & DVDs every morning. But now she even loves to watch fiction movies , just imagine she still wakes late at night just to watch her fave shows. She will even shed a tears if we will not let her see. It was so alarming for me as a mother!

Last week I was so shocked as in again, why? she was watching the movie Terminator III from the beginning till end together with his dad. I was put into sleep while both of them enjoyed the movie. I can't imagine how young is my daughter to be addicted with movies like this. Seldom you can see a 2 year old kid who who can finish a whole movie (a science fiction) without being disturbed. Oh no! this is not good anymore! What should I do especially that I can't be with her all the time since I am a working mom?
Don't disturbed her she's watching a movie...

Rainy Summer Days!

Philippines got only two kinds of climate: the sunny and the rainy days! We were so happy to welcome the summer days for it is the time to be with your love ones on a vacation, may it be on a beach, on a pool, island hopping or whatever is in the mind. This is the time where people loves to go out under the sun and go strolling in the mall with friends. But sad to say that, after we experienced the sunny days for just a month we are now experiencing a climate change. It really affects this time our food production here in the Philippines and most especially our farmers . Almost every afternoon we are experiencing heavy rain fall and in the morning seldom does the sun comes out to shine. Huhuhu! Our plan to go on a vacation somewhere else was cancelled due to the bad weather. So bad....Isn't quite contradicting---a Summer Rainy Days?Gosh!!!!

Twinkle!

Our pet named Twinkle gave birth again for the third time, but the sad thing is she only have 2 puppies this time. Unlike her two preganancies, she gave birth at least 5 puppies...(huhuhu)..My grandpa gave her to us last year 2001 if i'm not mistaken. She's a mixed breed of shitzhu and a poodle. She's so maarte, we always see to it that her hair is always been blowered up after her bath...

Last night, my attention paid to her one little puppy who was having her deep sleep at the floor while the other one puppy was so busy sucking her mom's milk. What I did, I wake her up and put her beside her bro (lol). I was so happy to see them drinking their milk together. So, i called my daughter to let her see the puppies.
To my surprise, my daughter brought and umbrella with her and hit the two little cute innocent puppies...(poor little puppies!)(lol)
As of now, we still don't have names for them. Can you help me choose a unique one? (heheheh)
