YES to Solar Power!

I am proud to say that our city is starting to use solar power nowadays! Back to solar energy, solar cells use sunlight to produce electricity, right? A visible example of which are the calculators with solar cells, this kind of device doesn’t need batteries anymore and in some cases they don’t even have an off button. Amazing! As long as there is enough light, they will work forever.

For sure you may also have seen larger solar energy panels, perhaps on emergency road signs, call boxes, buoys and even in parking lots to power the lights. These are not as common as with the calculators because they are more of larger panels and are not hard to spot if you know exactly where to look. It is usually package or connected assembly of photovoltaic cells which generates and supply electricity in commercial and residential applications.

In-ground Pool Solar Heating SystemAside from those mentioned above, solar power can be used also for solar water heater like in pools or outside tubs. I remember when I saw my cousin’s kids enjoying their pool despite the coldness of the weather. Eventually, they are using the solar heater as well. Good that they are also into solar power.

For sure all of you are also hoping for a "solar revolution” with the idea that one day we'll all use free electricity from the sun. If we could just collect all of that energy out from the sun, we could easily power our homes and offices for free.
