Kelly Rowland on her Son Going Through 'Challenging Twos'

It seems like yesterday when Kelly Rowland posted that photo of two Jordan shoes, one for her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, and one for their little boy that was yet to be born at that time. Now, little Titan just turned 2 in November. Time flies!

Kelly said, during an interview with PEOPLE Now that she wouldn’t call this phase in her son’s life the “terrible twos” so much. Terrible two is a stage we commonly know where toddlers start to struggle between their desire for independence versus their reliability to their parents. One minute, a toddler can be overly clingy, next thing you know, he or she's already running and ignoring you completely.

When asked about her experience, Kelly said: “I’m gonna call it the challenging twos — the ‘I’m coming into my own because I’m realizing I’m not next to Mommy all the time’ twos. It’s definitely a challenge — he’s discovering what his boundaries are and we’re letting him know what ours [are]. “
The singer and former Destiny’s Child member confessed that Titan has quite the personality already, describing him as a “strong-willed little boy.” She added that like most toddlers, Titan is also into everything and would give her sister a challenging time. But of course, being a mother that she is, Kelly concluded: “So yeah, he’s a tough one. I love him.” That’s really sweet! I’m pretty sure Titan will get through this challenging phase one day, just like all toddlers do.

Expo Mom: The Motherhood Journey in Cagayan de Oro

As the ultimate mommy event of the season takes a second trip to Mindanao, expect to be inspired by the different faces of mommyhood on October 15, 2016 at Centrio Mall, from 10AM to 9PM. Whether you're an expectant mom, a new mom, or a mom of three or four, you're going to find something to love at Expo Mom Cagayan de Oro.

Expo Mom: The Motherhood Journey features a fun and fulfilling all-day program. In the morning The Modern Nanays of Mindanao, a community of moms who promote breastfeeding, babywearing, and cloth diapering, lead the celebration of motherhood with a Mamba session—a Zumba class made especially for moms with slings! Dr. Raissa Paje Bayawa, founder of Happy Heart Kids Yoga, takes the stage next to enlighten moms about the benefits of prenatal yoga and to share some helpful moves as well.

Two sessions delve deep into the amazing journey that all moms share. The first one focuses on pregnancy and breastfeeding & finding that right balance between home life & career. Guests are Nadine Casino, founder of Modern Nanays of Mindanao & Ruby Caberte a popular blogger who is also a mom. The second touches on baby care with discussions on the right way to wear baby and age-appropriate toys to help with a child's development . Guests for this segment will be an early childhold educator and a few mommies.

The other exciting activities scheduled include a bento-making session specifically devoted to picky eaters by the pioneering Bento Mommas, who have actually been with us all over the country this year! You can sign up to participate at bit.ly/bentomommasCDO for Php900, inclusive of basic bento tool kit, bento box and food ingredients for the workshop plus freebies from sponsors, all of which you can take home afterward.

A makeup on the go demonstration for busy mothers by Paola Paladio- Ching follows in the afternoon, and a craft workshop with a homegrown moms and kids crafts group. In between, many prizes will be given away care of our generous exhibitors and sponsors Caltrate and Belo Baby.

Topping the motherhood celebration is a fashion show devoted to babywearing, showing one and all that it is possible to look positively trendy with a baby in tow.

A year from its tenth anniversary, Expo Mom continues to be a source of information and inspiration among modern parents and a wellspring of modern products and services for the whole family.

Expo Mom 2016: The Motherhood Journey is co-presented by Caltrate Plus and Belo Baby with Centrio Mall and Ayala Malls as its venue partner, supported by Modern Nanays of Mindanao, Carmel Kho Ricarte and Moms Radio, and Professional Organizers Unlimited, Inc. and Creative Juice Communications are its logistics partners. Blessed Mother's Day!

So true, being a mother is having the best work of all...why? because it isn't about salary, it's about giving PURE LOVE. Motherhood is really a tough 24-hour job. No overtime pay, no day off, most often unappreciated, resignation is not allowed. It is a lifetime commitment of taking care of the family.

I am so blessed to have a mom like my mom....she's the best! Now that I am a mother already, I do pray to God that I will give my very best to be the best mom too...somewhat like my children will be proud of me!

this was taken before going to Church....

Late this afternoon, I treated my mom and my cousins @ Big Flat Bread
to celebrate the event with us.

Of all the earthly things God gives, There's one above all others: It is the precious, priceless gift of loving Christian mothers.

Salute to all the Moms!!! Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Mom in a Mission

It is true that being a parent especially as a mom is not as easy job to take. But as I have learned that the greatest responsibility that we could offer to our children is to introduce them to Christ.

I am so blessed that as early as two years old my daughter Danielle knows how to pray and she really loves to dance before the Lord using the tambourines. Well, mommies out there we have to teach our children about Savior, Scripture and Service...

as if she knows how to read...1 John 4:8 "God is LOVE".

Pix below were taken just this morning as we celebrated the
Mother's Day special in our church...

my ever supportive husband & daughter

after our church service

on our way home

We were not able to celebrate it as a couple and have a date with hubby since we had a picnic with my family after church (maybe this weekdays)...Thanks God for we still had so much fun together.

A SuperMom

Last night, we went to bed so early because my daughter was not feeling well so as my husband. But before we slept, we prayed first together with my daughter. After saying a little prayer, she asked me to sing a song for her. Even though I’m having a hoarse voice due to my cough and cold, still I sang for her. While singing a song she wanted me to pat her back but again my husband is pleading me also to do some head massage coz he was so tired from his work. As a wife and as a mother, I did their request. Can you imagine that I’m doing it at the same time? I was placed between the two, from my right is my daughter and my husband is from the opposite. But guess what? My left hand was on the back of my daughter while the right one was on the head of my “honey”. Huh I’m crossing my hands for them? I said to myself, what am I doing now? He said to me that you’re a certified Super Mom. (lol). He made me smile after all. Instead of doing my blogging thing that night, we slept.. ZzZzZzZz
