Globe: First in Everything!

I have been a Globe user since then, from mobile to internet broadband. I believe on their saying that “Globe: Abot Mo ang Mundo”~as far as my experience is concern, wherever I go Globe is really within my reach. But not all the time I can say they are perfect, sometimes I encountered problems with them especially with my internet connection. Actually, I already signed up for an upgrade for my internet speed since there are 6 of us who are grabbing for a 1Mbp speed in our house. Too bad, I didn’t know that it was Globe who was the first carrier to launch 4G through our WiMax network in the Philippines but the good thing is that Cagayan de Oro is one of the cities covered with this. Now am planning to have it up to 4Mbps with their high speed broadband rollout. Hope to have better, faster, and more reliable broadband connections on our phone, laptops, PC this time.

But hey! Another good news is here:
Globe launches 4G mobile
First to roll out 4G mobile technology in Philippines
With their intentions to provide their subscribers for a higher speed broadband access with the added convenience of full mobility, they have come up to launch this commercial roll out of 4G mobile technology. But this time around, the covered sites are still limited to Metro Manila which includes Marikina, Quezon City, Makati, Pasay, Las Pinas, Taguig and the City of Manila. Don’t worry guys, by end of 2011, Globe expect to increase its 4G presence dramatically with continued expansion planned into 2012.

As the years go by, most of the people can’t live without internet connection that is why Globe pioneered this innovation just to give their customers a faster broadband in more places meeting the demands for a quality services.

Here's what you can do with the new 4G and HSPA+ (an Info):
  • HSPA+, or Evolved High-Speed Packet Access, is a 4G wireless, mobile, high speed broadband technology that allows for peak theoretical download speeds of up to 21 Mbps with upgradeability for 84Mbps.
  • With HSPA+ technology, subscribers will experience high peak rates, lower latency, improved “always-on experience”, better multimedia upload, high-speed web browsing, and faster streaming and downloads.
  • Under Globe HSPA+ network, subscribers are expected to enjoy browsing at an average speed of 4-6 Mbps with even faster peak speeds.
  • HSPA+ is the chosen mobile 4G standard for other carriers globally including AT&T and T-mobile in the US.
Now that 4G is available already, wherever I go ...I can do whatever I want to do! As a blogger faster internet connection is what I need most plus of course its accessibility. With this new technology it can help me a lot like updating things: blog about something on the spot, submit tasks on time, do social networkings etc and etc...I believe that 4G can truly meet my demands with a quality service. Truly, they are always first in everything!:)
