Happy BER Days!
BER months here we come! It only means that we are nearing the end of the year. Wow! Time really flies so fast that I can’t imagine that my daughter would be celebrating her 3rd birthday a month from now. As a mom, I am starting to prepare the stuffs that I need for her birthday party- from her dress, cakes, balloons, foods, venue, invitations, party hosts and etc. I have already in mind what would be her birthday theme that is why I am thinking of unique postcards that I saw online as her birthday invitations. They are offering lots of designs to choose from and I am currently searching for the one that would surely fit with the party’s theme.

TCP: The Lake House
This is just one of my favorite: The Lake House
Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock pair up again in what could be described as the anti-Speed: The Lake House, a sweet, relaxed-paced, whimsical romance. When Alex Wyler (Reeves, The Matrix) moves into an unusual glass house on stilts over a lake, he discovers a note from the previous tenant in the mailbox--but no one's lived in the house for years. He replies and soon discovers that he's corresponding with a doctor named Kate Forster (Bullock, Miss Congeniality) who's writing from two years in the future. Their correspondence turns romantic and their paths cross in unexpected ways, but when they try to truly connect, danger looms.

On Breast Cancer...
We usually hear and read from news about people dying, suffering and surviving this co called CANCER- a life threatening disease. By the way this is a class of diseases in which a group of cells display uncontrolled growth (division beyond the normal limits), invasion (intrusion on and destruction of adjacent tissues), and sometimes metastasis (spread to other locations in the body via lymph or blood). These three malignant properties of cancers differentiate them from benign tumors, which are self-limited, and do not invade or metastasize. Most cancers form a tumor but some, like leukemia, do not. This affect people at all ages, even fetuses, but the risk for most varieties increases with age.
Just recently my cousin’s family was grieving because of her mother’s death caused by Cancer. It was indeed so painful for her daughters to accept the fact that their mother will just have limited time here on earth because of the breast cancer stages that is already critical. The time when the doctor checked her up it was already a metastatic breast cancer and they have nothing to do with. Too bad!
If only they could turn back time they have detected it so early and it that sense they will be able to have a breast cancer treatment. I have read the site about Herceptin – is approved for the adjuvant treatment of HER2-overexpressing, node-positive or node-negative (ER/PR-negative or with one high-risk feature)† breast cancer. It is also a as a single agent that is approved for treatment of HER2-overexpressing breast cancer in patients who have received one or more chemotherapy regimens for metastatic disease.
But anyway, all things happened for a purpose!
