Visible Reminders

Words of Scripture on a plaque, a memory card, or a calendar can turn our focus toward the Lord throughout the day. These visible reminder of Christ and His word will encourage our steps of obedience to Him.

Putting it into practice:

• Memorize a verse of Scripture as you go to work.
• Write a verse on a card, and tape it where it is visible.
• Meditate on that verse during the day.
• Store the Bible in your heart, not on the shelf.

God's message for me today is:

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed."
Prov. 16:3

Sad News Received!

Few minutes ago as I was writing my assignments, suddenly a YM message box poped-up. It was my first degree cousin from Australia telling me that the husband of my other cousin from Canada just died hours from now. Oh my! The saddest thing is that, my mom and my "Kuya" just talked over the phone last night asking her if the the therapist could visit him this morning to have his first session of theraphy since he suffered from mild stroke. I couldn't believe at his young age he would die so soon and besides we just talked with his wife over YM yesterday morning and in the evening I have talked with my other cousin informing her about "Kuya's" health condition.

Well, life is really so short and we have to be always ready to face these all these things. We really have to live for God! And to you my dearest "kuya", may you rest in peace and we love and we will surely miss you!

We will just hold on with this verse:

"For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."

Phil. 1:21

WFW: Unchanging LOVE

God never changes, and neither does His Love for us. We are the recipients of a perfect love from our Heavenly Father, who has loved us "with an everlasting love". We are all called to accept His unfailing love, to allow it to shape our lives and to extend it to others.

"God's LOVE still stands when all else has fallen".
