Proportion of water to coffee

To make good coffee the coffee must be fresh and the grind must be suited for the brewing methodology. The proportion of water to coffee is critical; this is where it is most difficult to get it right on a regular basis. The final component is the water – it must be cold and the water should be a top quality tap, bottled or filtered water to ensure the best results.
