The country’s #1 Japanese fast food chain brings quality and affordable dishes to Cagayan De Oro City

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, 28 November 2012 – The first Tokyo Tokyo restaurant in the country was located at the Quad Park in Makati and now, the country’s #1 Japanese fast food chain finally arrives in Cagayan de Oro City!

“As we officially open the doors of Tokyo Tokyo in the heart of Cagayan De Oro, we hope to open a whole new dining experience for all Cagayanons – one of quality, affordable and delicious Japanese cuisine. We’re very happy to be opening not only our 53^rd branch, but also for the beginning of our long-awaited expansion plans in the Northern Mindanao Region after opening our first Mindanao store in Davao last September,” said Tokyo Tokyo’s Marketing Manager Joan Optina.

To celebrate this milestone, Tokyo Tokyo gathered together friends from the media for an exclusive preview event of the first Tokyo Tokyo store in Cagayan De Oro City where guests had the privilege to indulge on a wide array of Tokyo Tokyo’s menu – the Sumo Meal and the Bento Meal. Appropriately named after Japan’s iconic sumo wrestler, the Sumo Meal is a big meal that includes many of Tokyo Tokyo’s best-loved dishes: Pork Tonkatsu, Prawn Tempura, Beef Misono, Red Iced Tea and all the rice that you can eat, perfect for two. The Bento Meal on the other hand is a complete meal in a box, the content of which are fully customizable. Choose among nine Japanese Bestseller meals combined with Miso soup, vegetables, dessert in one meal with Red Iced Tea and all the rice that you can eat.

The media guests were also treated to a maki making demo, which showcased 5 different kinds of maki and where some of the guests got the chance to try their hand at making the ever popular California Maki. The demo displayed just how much technique and mastery go into making Tokyo Tokyo’s delicious and affordable Japanese dishes.

Guests were also treated with Tokyo Tokyo’s bestselling rice meals (Sumo and Bento Meals) and snack offerings like the Nori Wasabi French Fries, Pearl Milk Teas and the Japanese Shogun and Shitake Mushroom Burgers.

Free Movie Day @ SM Cinemas Nationwide

Environmental Exploration

Wow! I never thought how blessed I am for the month of October because God allowed me to experience another opportunity to travel with my co-workers as part of our Experiential Learning in our office. Last October 22-27, 2012, for the first time I was with the technical group just enjoying the beauty of nature for the whole week. Thank you Lord for this once in a lifetime travel shouldered by the office. *wink* Hope this is just the beginning.... :)

The rest of the day was spent for a long-hour travel, tiring yet enjoying. Headed back to Manila for a 1 day strolling and shopping anywhere we wanted to go. Then finally went home with all the pasalubongs we had for our dear loved-ones.

Our Macau Trip

This is a long and overdue post but anyway, just want to share our experiences as we travel out of the country for the first time....

Last October 7, 2012 was our 7th wedding anniversary and God has blessed us with this kind of opportunity to travel with my hubby out from our kids for the first time. On the same day, we traveled and that we were so thankful that we didn't encounter any problems with the immigration. Truly God favored us during these 4 nights and 3 days travel. We did enjoy our company as we rekindle the love that we've cherished for almost 10 years. So here are the itineraries that we went through....

Day1: Visiting their Hotels/Casinos.....Grand Lisboa, Wynn Hotel (Dragon & Prosperity Tree Show), City of Dreams, The Venetian (famous Gondola Ride), MGM, Star World and etc....

Day 2: Flora Garden with their cable cars, Flea or red Market, San Malu, Churches and the famous The Ruins of St. Paul and watched the Performance Lake Show at Wynn Hotel

Last Day (3): Went to Macau Tower: at floor 53 is the observation deck and went to 61st floor for the outside deck where the highest bungee jumping would take place and lastly we went to see the Macau's Giant Panda named Xin2x and Kai2x. 

Thank you Lord for allowing things to happen. I know this is just the beginning of our exploration journey with my family. Looking forward for another out of the country vacation with my kids next year!
