Find the Perfect Gift for Everyone on Your List

Finding great deals on jewelry gets easier as we get closer to the holidays. In fact, finding great deals on everything seems to get easier. Everyone wants you to buy, buy, buy as Christmas gets closer. And, realistically, most people oblige.

Finding the right gift for everyone can seem difficult at first. One thing you may want to do is find out what is hot right now. For example, you could look at toy watches for friends or family. These are a great option for anyone who enjoys watches.

For kids, there are things that will always go over well. Young children might enjoy books or blocks. Toys that are bright and colorful tend to work well. Older children today enjoy gaming systems. For example, the Nintendo DS is great for kids who need portability. The Wii has been said to be much better for children because there are many games that are great for kids to develop their motor skills.

If you are trying to get something for the person who has everything, this can be a little more difficult. Trying to find something unique, that they will enjoy, can get frustrating. Consider things like gourmet chocolates if they have a sweet tooth. Or, find a great, warm blanket to help them stay warm this winter.

Finding a great gift for each person on your list can get time consuming. One of the best ways to get it all done is to start early. Waiting until the last few days before the holiday can make it stressful, and you may find that what you are looking for is no longer available. Get a jump start, but keep an eye out for great deals as well.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE!

No matter our age or status in life, we all can strive to love others as God loves them. We may accomplish great things in our life- gain fame and fortune- but the greatest thing is to LOVE! For of all that we have done, or ever will do, only love endures. We depart, but love abides.
The greatest thing in the world is...

Your Little Boy: Man Under Construction

He used to run into the kitchen wall head first when he was two. The reason you remember it is because he did it so often. He never gave up thinking that he could beat that wall. His head was dented because of it. He used to laugh at the birds and throw rocks at them too when he was six. You didn’t bother to scold him because he never once came close to hitting one. But he never gave up either. When he was twelve, he would open doors for others, especially those he saw needing help. He got the oddest looks from other people.

At age 14 he stole home plate twice. When he was in high school he took one of his best friends to the prom. She was the one no one else would ask. He did it because he had that kind of heart. His senior year he turned a center fielder’s arm into district championship when everyone else told him it wasn’t possible. That was the championship in the javelin, by the way.

You spent all those years getting him the best equipment you could afford, which was not always enough. Whether it was the Mizuno baseball glove, the Toms Shoes that suddenly became popular, or second set of Legos when you realized he ran out before he was done, you were there for him. It made a quiet difference.

Your little boy graduated from college and by then, it did not matter what his records were or his grades. He was already a champion starting the day he continually challenged the kitchen wall. That little boy is still there. He’s just in a man’s body now.

When holding your infant in your arms, remember that he is a gift that you only have for a short time. It’s your job to help him find the way there.

Belly Dancing

Last Friday afternoon after my daughter's Ballet Class, her teacher told her to be back on Saturday so that she can then start her 1st Belly Dancing lesson. To my amazement, I was so happy seeing her doing all the egyptian moves as lil as she is. Guess what she was the tiniest and the youngest among them all- from older ones (mommies and Ate's were there). :)

Very well done for a first-timer like her..she dances like a pro! Thank you Lord!

Body Shaping

A beautiful figure is not strictly a matter of fitness...

  • Slimmer legs, hips and buttocks
  • Targeted stubborn fat deposits from the belly area
  • Improved texture and tone of skin
  • Reduced appearance of cellulite
  • Reduction of half to one clothes size- with a full course of sessions

Aside from the fast targeted-long lasting and visible RESULTS one can also try the conjugated linoleic acid- the easiest way to get your body in shape! Actually it is a natural and healthy fatty acid that is actually essential to the basic functioning of your body. It can be found in multiple sources, including various plant sources such as sunflower oil.

13th Week of Pregnancy

By the end of pregnancy week 13, our baby looks like a tiny yet fully formed baby. While our baby's head is still quite large, his body is starting to catch up. Our baby's eyes are starting to move closer together by pregnancy 13 weeks. Up until this point in time, they rested closely along the sides of the head. Our baby's intestines are also moving further into the body, and our baby's tiny pancreas is starting to produce insulin, which will be vital for regulating your baby's sugar levels later in life!
Fingerprints have formed on our baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If we're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries, but what about if we're having a boy? :) Our baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

Wow! We're all so excited to see baby Josh! :)

Multitasking Mom

Being a multitasking mom is difficult. There are so many things to do. The house is always messy. The beds are unmade. There are so many things left unfinished. When you are a multitasking mom, you ought to make the right decisions with your time. Firstly, you need to understand the importance of time management.

Moms who work don’t have time for themselves. When they do get time, they waste it with irrelevant things. Wasted time is a big offense for a busy mom. For example, when driving a car, a mom can listen to the news on radio. By doing this, a newspaper reading session can be avoided and precious time can be saved. Another instance is to watch television. Instead of watching television, busy moms can call up and meet their friends instead.

Multitasking moms need to be a little less harsh on themselves. Solely because by being harsh on oneself, it will only make matters more difficult. Try to be a little slow on you. Don’t worry too much about the beds being unmade, or the dishes in the sink. Leave that thought alone. Don’t be worried too much by it.

Use a smart phone to do many things at once. Use a prepaid card. Smart phones will give you the ability to connect with people, and also check mails. Not just that—one can even do banking activities on the smart phone. So the gist of the story is that smart phones are for smart, multitasking moms.

Take the help of a schedule. Agreed, schedules are slightly cumbersome and might not always turn right. But schedules give direction. For example, you can start of your day with a jog. Follow this up with turning on the television and listening to the news while you get things ready. If you have kids, then teach them to get their things done by themselves and so on.

Got the Box!

Yeah it would be an early Christmas for us since my elder sister sent us the box a month ago and we just received it yesterday. My daughter was so excited to open it because she knew for sure that she has a lots of gifts on it. Well, so true she really had most of what's inside but of course my sister made it a point that every one of us has it's own share. I myself got some stuffs like blazers, accessories, makes-ups, perfumes and etc. My parents got and age defying cream while my cousin got her request of having a cream on how to remove dark circles since that was her problems since then.

To sum it up, we ended up with a big smile receiving those early Christmas gifts and of course we never failed to call up my sister and say our thanksgiving to her!

A Solution for Those Emergencies that Come up Being a Single Mom

Being a single mom isn't easy, but that goes without saying. You have to take care of everything around the house, prepare meals, and somehow bring an income in with no help. If the kids are older, you have to worry about getting them to and from school, shopping for school supplies, and more. If the kids are younger, then daycare becomes a concern. And of course, kids are always growing, so new clothes are always right around the corner. It gets to the point where if anything unexpected comes up, it can be hard to get the bills paid, and you're forced to decide what you can live without.

Imagine a single mom who depends on her vehicle to get the kids to school, get to work, and pick up groceries. Now imagine that car breaking down and being immobile. What would you do? Obviously she can't afford to be without the car for any extended period of time. Still, living check to check makes it hard, if not impossible, to come back from a situation like that without help. Imagine having to cut back on food because you need to save up to fix the car!

Situations like this are why pay day loans exist. Let's face it, you're not going to be able to walk into a bank and get a loan for something like this. Even if you could, it would take a while, ranging from a week to a month, to close the loan and get your money in time to get things fixed. With a pay day loan, all you need is a dependable and verifiable source of income, and you can get the cash you need when you need it most. And depending on the loan type, you can have your payments spread out for minimal hurt on your everyday budget.

Using the Internet To Save Money

Even with your regular stores cutting costs everyday, there are still many ways you can save even more. It is always good to have some sort of savings for urgent needs, as well as for something that you don’t buy everyday. Though it can seem hard to save on everyday items, if you use the Internet in a productive way, you too will find more ways to save than you expected. You have to be careful with the sites you visit though, as some of them can be a scam and instead of getting any kind of savings, you will end up with other problems.

One of the ways to save over the Internet is to find savings on things you pay for on a monthly basis. There are several companies who offer online services to help you get the best possible auto and home insurance. One such site is 21st Century Insurance, which offers online auto insurance as well as other insurances that you need. Contacting their customer service will provide you with additional details so that you can compare it to what you currently have and make a decision from there.

There are several sites dedicated to coupons which you can easily review and print. These coupons can be used in stores or over the Internet, and the savings are usually in addition to the discounts that the stores provide. Coupons can save you quite a bit, and with some of them you can end up getting things for free without feeling guilty about it. The truth is some of them are much better than what you will see in the newspaper or in Valpacks. They offer greater savings with fewer limitations on what you can actually spend on. Use your spare time to look online and you will find something you can use.

Happy Without

Do you believe that Godliness with contentment is a great gain? Definitely YES! For we brought nothing in this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. If we become enamored with things like if we buy gold bullion and other material things, then be careful because we may wander from the faith and be pierced with the pangs of frustrated desire.

Why don’t we asked ourselves, “What am I truly happy without?”. For sure the answer will reveal much about our relationships with the Lord and our contentment with Him.

Lord, help me not set my heart on things that pass away;
Make me content with what I have and give You thanks each day.

I do believe that contentment comes not from great wealth but from few wants.

Spend More Time with Your Family with Scottsdale Property Management

Managing property is hard, and it takes a lot of time. Being a landlord is complicated, and it's not something that everyone wants to do - but most people do want the money that having rental properties can bring. If you're one of those people, go ahead and get your rental properties. Then get Scottsdale property management to take care of them. A lot of people say they don't want a property management company to help them, because they figure they won't make as much money that way. Often, though, that's not the case. You can generally make more money from letting a management company help you.

The reason behind that is due to the fact that a management company that's used to handling property can get things done more efficiently - and often for less money - than a person who isn't familiar with who to call, how much things should cost, and what to do when something goes wrong. By letting a company handle it, you'll also be around to spend a lot more time with your family and friends. They should be the most important things in your life, especially if you have small children who really need your time and attention.

Don't overlook them just because you're trying to make money or because you think you have to do everything yourself. You don't need to handle it all. Delegation can be a very good thing, as long as you delegate your cares and worries to the right person or company. When you feel comfortable with your choice of property management company, you can just relax and enjoy your time with your loved ones. If there's a serious problem, your management company will call you. Otherwise, you can feel secure and just collect the money for your rental property.

Worth the Wait

I have been posting in my previous posts that I'm currently looking for great deals to buy my AC adapter for my netbook and a tripod for my camera. I was so happy to know that buy dot com will be offering holiday specials during Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. If I can get one, then I can say that it's worth the wait of not buying it out of impulse. Guess what? They will be offering free shipping too plus they will be giving discounts up to 70% off. Well, that would be a nice advance Christmas gift for me.

Blog Advertising Store is a SCAM

I have read this review from other site and I thought of posting it here because I was once a victim of these fraudulent site.

This is about scam again. Some people already warned me about this Blogadvertisingstore.com. They said that I should stay away from this site because they never pay our reviews. Even there are few group of people that claimed about getting payment from this site, but there are many more that never get paid for the reviews that they made for this site.

In the beginning, this site was using Payingpost.com name. But later on, they changed their name into Blogadvertisingstore. But the layout of the website is still the same. Even the login code that I have is still the same one as I registered with Payingpost.

In the beginning, they said that they will hold our money until 50 US dollar. But later on, they changed their policy again. They will reserve our account until it reach 100 US dollar. I still try to follow the rule. And actually they should pay me on the first of April of 2009 since I reached 100 US dollar already in my finance account.

Guess what? They did not pay me. I tried to mail then more than five times, I got no reply at all. So I guess I can say that this is a scam site. Don’t bother to write for them anymore.

My New Site

I have wanted to maintain another site of mine but sometimes laziness makes me feel of doing so. Good thing, an angel buzzed me again for the second time if I want to have another one. Of course without a second thought, I said yes. Guess what? I have it just last week and what's the real score is it's already cached/indexed by Google and of course it's wordpress host in which I like most. I hope I can update it the soonest so that I can use it the way I want it. Well, as of this time I'm still updating my other blogs so that in due time my new site will be launched.

I still have my old site that is still on free hosting and I'm considering of buying a new domain for it. Hope to update it the soonest and I'm still hoping that after giving birth my passion in writing will be back to normal. Oops! I'll just give you a little hint of my new site..."it's never too late to be fabulous'!. :)

Good Communicators

Good communication occurs not only when we know what we want to say, but also when we know the person to whom we are speaking. And to know one another requires a willingness to let others know our weaknesses and limitations.

Paul urged us as believers to speak truthfully with each other (Ephesians 4:25). He also admonished us to be “kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another’. That’s Christ-like love, and it provides the security in which good communication can thrive.- Haddon Robinson

Listen to understand, then speak with LOVE!

Unforgettable Place

Last Halloween special, we went home in our little hometown with my family. Since my granny’s house is a bit far from the city, so we just stayed in that little barrio with lots of fruits to eat and fresh air to breathe. I remember before we went home we picked some “tambis” and bring it home, guess what makes it funny? We have to wear boots because it was too muddy since it rained for how many days, but to no avail we used the muck boots of my Aunty. Hahaha… that is why that place has so many unforgettable memories to cherish with since my childhood days.

Don't Fail to Make a List!

Every time I will go to the grocery store, I'll make it a point that I will bring a list with me. Aside from the fact of not forgetting what I wanted to buy, saving much time is the very main reason why. Just like last weekend, we went to buy some toiletries but guess what? I lost my list at home! Ggrrr...I was not able to buy my hubby's acne face wash in which that was our main reason why we went there. Anyway, lesson learned: don't fail to make a list and never lost it!

Let's Aerodance!

Just yesterday, our office had started the aero-dancing for the interested employees. Well that's actually a good idea since office employees like us need to sweat it out the unnecessary fats that has been stored for so long just doing the monotonous work. But in my case, I'm exempted since I'm pregnant but some of my fellow workers really devoted their time because they believe that through natural exercise is one way to save money rather than opting on which diet pills work best. Well, maybe after giving birth I will join their group, hopefully!

Our Baby @ 10 Weeks

Our fetus is only about 1.2 inches / 3 centimeters long from crown to rump and weighs less than a sixth of an ounce / 4 grams. Even so, it's busily swallowing and kicking. Each day more minute details start to appear, such as fingernails and peach-fuzzy hair.

The vital organs - the liver, kidneys, intestines, brain, and lungs - are fully formed and functional, while the head is almost half the length of the entire body. The forehead temporarily bulges and sits high on the head, but later will change into a more human-like feature.

By the end of 10 weeks, our baby will have moved past the embryonic period and will begin the 'fetal' period. The fetal period is the time when our baby will undergo rapid growth. By week ten, our baby is less at risk for congenital malformations (physical birth defects), which usually occur during the first nine weeks of pregnancy. I should breathe a big sigh of relief by the end of pregnancy week 10!

Thank you Lord for such a wonderful workpiece!

Happy Halloween!

I guess it's our family custom to be home in our little province every November 1 & 2. It's been a year also that we've visited the grave of our dear loved-ones who departed way ahead from us. The pic above was taken last All Saints day....
