Search for the Toughest Jobs in RP

May 26, 2010 was indeed a history that marked my calendar that I was once invited to be part of The Search for the Toughest Jobs Philippines launching held at DOLE's office at Intramuros, Manila. Just imagine I and together with with my fellow Blog4Reviews bloggers from Iloilo, Davao, Cebu and Cagayan de oro flew just to be part of this once in a lifetime (opportunity) event! The said launching is a groundbreaking initiative that seeks to honor Filipino men and women who face the challenges of their day-to-day jobs with pride, resiliency and most of all toughness.

Sad to say that we were not able to see People's Champ for some health reasons but indeed, still worth it to be with the Alaxan Brand Representative: Ms. Sheila Rono.

This search is open to all working Filipinos and will run from May 26 to August 21, 2010. if you want to be part of it, just register and upload a picture explaining why they have the toughest jobs @ www.toughjobsphilippines.com. The entry that gets the most number of votes online will win the competition an will bring home a trophy and a cash prize.

As we all know Alaxan is already known for its effective ways of curing body pain, it is an alternative pain reliever of not just an ordinary individual but to our very own People’s Champ- Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao uses this medicine too especially if he is in his series of rigorous training. This video that I’m going to share is a very good example on how does an Alaxan works fast in curing body pains specifically the BRABALINTAWAN. Have you seen this on TV adds? if not…watch this:

I myself can testify on how effective Alaxan in relieving body and muscle pains.

As a full-time working mom and a part-time blogger at night, I can say that my job is considered to be tough though. I am a workaholic person in which I work in the front of the computer all day long (8am-5pm) then at night time ‘till my body requires me to sleep. I usually complain suffering from back pain. It’s not that easy sitting down for the whole day (aside from my work that deals on numbers during day time), being a blogger needs your full attention since you cannot just write ordinarily (blah blah blah) but you need to take more of your time in order to have an output that requires your full creativity and that it make it more so real and lively. It is every bloggers aim to generate high traffic on their site that is why as much as possible we are oblige to create a good post that will make the readers keep on coming back and then tracking our everyday updates. Indeed, being a blogger is considered to be one of the toughest job in the Philippines.

As for my pick, my husband’s job is worth nominating in the said search. Why? Currently, he is the operations manager in their family business- Security Agency and that he deals with at least 100 Security Guards. Having lots of workers to manage plus business to operate makes it tougher. Dealing and solving others problem is not easy- the client’s problems as well as some of his “not so good” guards that gives him pain- physical and mental stress. I can see how hard his situation especially when problem arises even if he’s at home when the work calls for him, he will respond immediately to his duty. Well so much detail will be posted on the gallery so soon and you can Vote for the Toughest Jobs in the Philippines entry there!

The said launching wouldn't be complete without the help of Department of Labor and Employment and of course with Alaxan FR! Indeed, it was a successful event and Kudos to those who work hard for it!

No job is ever worthwhile if we don't work hard for it!

AyosDito Ah!

Blame it on men why women love to go on shopping. :) Yes women love to spend and spend and shop around. Now, with the advancement of new technologies some may opt to go online shopping rather than spending much of their time and effort at the mall. Just like me, I’d love to go surfing the net and look for the best stuff that I am planning to have. Just like my PC net book which I bought it online a year ago. As a mom, we buy stuffs with good quality and of course where we can save most.

Good thing that there are lots of shopping site online and AyosDito.ph is one in the list. Well aside from its easy, simple and free you can even choose your location/region where you from anywhere in the Philippines. You can either buy or sell stuffs, may it be new or old (pre-loved). Just last week, I went to a certain computer store and asked the saleslady on where to buy personalized laptop/net book skins but unfortunately, they don’t know. Good thing as I was browsing this noon time, I happened to search the one that I am looking for here at an affordable price of Php145.

Well, now that we are considering of purchasing our own house and lot, I think AyosDito dot ph would be a great help not just for me but as well as for my friend who just got married and who’s looking for an apartment for rent to live in and be able start a new family.

Hope you can visit the best marketplace in the Philippines site too…

Shoot Me!: Our Flower Girl

Yesterday was my friend's wedding. Luckily, my daughter was again a flower girl
for the 6th time at her age of 3. Good thing she did march by herself and we are so proud of her!

the proud parents....

Now, it's time for you to be in front of the camera
and join this weekly meme...

Forever In Blue Jeans

What's Their Business?

Just this month, I was so shocked that my cousin owned a new 4x4 vehicle. It was actually a gift from his father for him to use in their new business. I was so curious on what their new business is all about since he just keeps it as a secret. Now I know, they engaged in buying precious metals. Hmmm interesting and exciting though!

So true, that buying gold is the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. How much more if one has to buy gold bullion, it is more unique investment. Well, if you want to know more and want to invest your money then visit their US Gold Bureau- the home of dedicated staffs and known as America’s dealer with convenient market and competitive precious metals prices.

I just hope my uncle would find time to visit them so that their business will prosper the soonest.

Oh how I miss this well-loved meme of me, it's been so long since my last entry.
Now, I am so excited to share God's word every Wednesday here...

I took this picture last Friday as we went home to our province.
I was really amazed of God's love to us through His creations...
so here it is!

The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful word of our Father) through photo’s & a Bible verse!

Cancelled Trip!

"We're going camping now we're on our way, we're gonna climb up the mountain"...well, that's my cousins song when we planned to go to Davao Eden Park for a family outing. But sad to say that there are lots of us who won't be able to come due to some circumstances. Well, there's still next time in every situation.

Actually, every one is so excited since we already had planned for our itineraries and that we are trying to add one more vehicle for the said trip. My cousin considered of renting motorhomes if there's an available at that certain schedule. Gosh! Still, we can't afford such recreational vehicle like this.

May 2010 Election

Today (May 10, 2010) marks the first automated election in the Philippines! Early this morning I immediately went to my assigned polling precinct and this is what I got.....

I was able to cast my vote in less than an hour. Haven't you noticed something? Well, the name that appear is my maiden name. I was a bit shocked that I was not able to change my status after I got married last 2005. Tsk tsk tsk...too bad! Anyway, what matters most is that I did not waste my vote! This was the evidence! (Actually, I wanted to take pictures inside the precinct but they don't allow)

Thanks God it was a smooth-sailing election day!
Now, I am so excited for the poll results on who will be our next President!

May 9, 2010

Bro. Eddie Villanueva for President!

Few hours from now, I will be going to my assigned poll precinct to vote straight for Bangon Pilipinas Party. Whew! I will be then so excited to cast my vote for the person whom can lead for a righteous governance. No other qualified presidential candidates has the criteria of a GENUINE LOVE for God and country but Bro. Eddie himself!

As young as my daughter (3 yrs old), she already knew what kind of a leader should we put in to lead our country. She is for Bro. Eddie!!! Just imagine this afternoon, she requested me to text all my families and relatives in our province to remind them to vote for Bro. Eddie for tomorrow's election. Sometimes, I may wonder why some of the "born-again Christians" would not support him? why? Are they blinded too??? Hmmmm...much better for my daughter she understands well!

Anyway, let us all pray for an honest, orderly and peaceful election. Let this election reminds us that the success and failure of our country is in our hands. So please vote wisely! I'm calling out to all mothers out there... let's work together to make it a point that we will elect the rightful leaders for our country. Let's do it for our children.

We want change, a real change!!!! That is why we are supporting for a righteous governance! Don't waste you votes, vote for Bro. Eddie :)

Blessed Mother's Day!

So true, being a mother is having the best work of all...why? because it isn't about salary, it's about giving PURE LOVE. Motherhood is really a tough 24-hour job. No overtime pay, no day off, most often unappreciated, resignation is not allowed. It is a lifetime commitment of taking care of the family.

I am so blessed to have a mom like my mom....she's the best! Now that I am a mother already, I do pray to God that I will give my very best to be the best mom too...somewhat like my children will be proud of me!

this was taken before going to Church....

Late this afternoon, I treated my mom and my cousins @ Big Flat Bread
to celebrate the event with us.

Of all the earthly things God gives, There's one above all others: It is the precious, priceless gift of loving Christian mothers.

Salute to all the Moms!!! Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Yummy Sunday: Yellow Cab Pizza

Last Thursday at around 3:30 in the afternoon (in the office), I crave for something to eat that is so delicious. But to my surprise, a delivery man from Yellow Cab arrived at that very moment with handful boxes of pizza from YC. Hmmm...what an answered prayer!

Guess what? somebody paid this for us ....thanks anyway!

I can't wait to take a bite....so hungry na!
hmmmm so yummy!

Happy YS everyone and
Happy Mother's Day to all mommies in the world!

108th Labor Day

before the event started...a pose with mommies...

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) celebrated the event as the 108th Labor Day among all National Agencies, GOCCS, private companies and other laborers. Of course, our Agency as always takes part on every event such this. Actually, we received that day an award as the most Lively "Bibo" Department because we really had fun despite that very long and tiring Alay-Lakad.

having fun while walking....picture here and there!

of course all of us were so hungry, so we ended up having our breakfast at McDo....
